De Service Garage is a cultural platform initiated by the artists Frank Ammerlaan & Thijs Rhijnsburger. They started with the squatted exhibition space Horse Move Project Space next to the Stedelijk Museum Post CS which ended in 2008. De Service Garage opened their doors in December 2007. The exhibition space is 475 m2, there are 12 studios where recently graduated artists work, 1 studio for an artist in residence and on top of that a great roof of 1000 m2.
